Practice Manager

Sandy has been the Practice Manager at Fruitville Veterinary Clinic since 1993. She is our “behind the scene” staff member and keeps our clinic running smoothly. It is her responsibility to ensure that we have a well trained and friendly staff, a productive environment in which the staff can work together as a team, and maintain an environment where clients are satisfied with the services performed. She strives to exceed your expectations. Sandy is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan but enjoys the warm climate Florida has to offer. Sandy loves her rescue Whippet named Maddie and her cat, Baloo.

Jenn has been with Fruitville Veterinary Clinic since 1993. She is a Receptionist and Veterinary Technician. Her love of animals is apparent by her pet “family.” Jack, her Golden Retriever, is often in the clinic to greet our clients. Her Whippets, Myles, Keegan, Foxy and Ollie, three cats, and various fish, reptiles and a bird complete her family. Jenn has been training, grooming, and showing dogs for 21 years. She is now a professional handler and travels throughout Florida and several other states competing in dog shows.

Sam began working with Dr. Pepper at Fruitville Veterinary Clinic in 2007 as a receptionist. Prior to 2006 Sam had a long career working with horses. She has enjoyed caring for animals her entire life and wanted to change her focus to small animals. Having always had dogs and cats in her life it was a natural next step for her to join FVC.

Sam is the first person you will meet when you arrive at Fruitville Veterinary Clinic. She makes appointments and can inform you about the right products and food for your pet. Sam is ready to assist you in anyway she can to make your experience at FVC the best it can be.

Sam is married and has two Dachshunds, Milo and Mack. They keep her very busy. She enjoys bike riding, gardening and walking the dogs in the evening.

Veterinary Technician

Sandy is a native of Florida and joined our team in 2006 as a veterinary technician. Sandy has always had a love for animals. She knew early in life that she wanted to be able to help animals since they help us so much. They enrich our lives with unconditional love.

Sandy enjoys assisting Dr. Pepper in surgery and taking radiographs. She runs laboratory diagnostics with our in-house lab. Sandy provides exceptional, compassionate care for your pets when they must stay with us.

Sandy has two dogs, Bailey and Bandit and two cats, Roxy and Kansas. Running and bike riding are her favorite past times. She is currently attending school to further education.

Veterinary Technician

Tammy joined Fruitville Veterinary Clinic in 1999 and is a veterinary technician. Tammy grew up in a small rural town in Indiana. She has always had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially the strays that “followed her home”. Remembering the fear and helpless feelings she had when her pets were ill or injured compels her to provide excellent care to our patients and their owners. Tammy takes joy in being part of sending a once sick puppy home to his anxious family as well as providing comfort to clients who must say goodbye to their old friend. Each and every patient receives her best.

As a veterinary technician Tammy helps Dr. Pepper with appointments, surgeries, procedures and her favorite, dentistry. She loves being able to take care of your pets and help them feel secure and comfortable in the process.

Tammy is thankful for Dr. Pepper’s faith in her to bring her best to FVC and thanks her parents for giving her the soft heart to do it with. She loves her job.

Veterinary Assistant

Dalton is a Veterinary Assistant and joined our team in 2012. He is originally from Michigan and has resided in Florida since 2004. He enjoys outdoor activities. Dalton is a student at State College of Florida.

Because Dalton enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, he has aspirations of one day becoming a veterinarian. Two dogs, Chip and Zeva, and two birds make up his pet family.
